General Description: The A700 is a twin turbofan-powered carbon-composite aircraft with seven seats (2 crew 5 passengers). Customers will enjoy flying in pressurized comfort in a spacious cabin that includes a standard aft lavatory with a privacy divider. Pilots will enjoy a modern, ergonomically designed cockpit with mechanically linked side stick controllers. Baggage space includes 27 cubic feet of unpressurized capacity located in the nose of the aircraft and 6 cubic feet located within the pressurized cabin area.
Airframe: The A700 will be certified to the requirements of United States Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14, Part 23; including Day, Night, VFR, IFR, Single Pilot Operation, Flight Into Known Icing Conditions (FIKI), and Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM). In addition, the aircraft will obtain various foreign certifications such as European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval for European operations.
Powerplant: Two highly efficient certified Williams FJ-33-4A turbofan engines provide power, each having a thermodynamic thrust rating of 1,568 lbs of thrust, in conjunction with Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC).
Interior: The spacious A700 interior is tastefully appointed with features such as all-leather adjustable seats in a club configuration, an aft belted seat/toilet with privacy divider, executive tables, individual lighting, air vents and cup holders, and accessory power connections. A storage cabinet provides convenient access to snacks and beverages.
Avionics/Instrumentation: The A700 avionics suite includes a state-of-the-art glass cockpit providing Primary Flight Display (PFD) capability for both pilots. The large format PFDs display attitude, heading, airspeed, altitude, and vertical speed data as well as flight director command bars, heading and altitude preselects. In addition, the center-mounted Multifunction Display (MFD) provides all navigational information along with engine instrumentation and CAS. For maximum situational awareness, the displays have the capacity to display weather, traffic, and terrain data. Dual solid-state Attitude Heading Reference Systems (AHRS) and Air Data Computers (ADC) provide attitude and air data information, while three-axis digital autopilot, and flight management system (FMS) functionality is also included.
